    Goodbye and thank you!
To all the parents of Stockton Heath Primary School, I would like to begin by expressing my thanks to you all for the many messages, cards, gifts and best wishes I have received over the last few weeks. In particular, I must mention Purple Day which really was a very special and emotional day for me! There are not enough words to express my thanks for the gifts I received from the parent community on Tuesday at my assembly. I am completely and utterly overwhelmed and touched by the generosity and kindness of you all. I am incredibly grateful to everyone for playing a part in organising such a wonderful celebration of my time at Stockton Heath Primary School. Despite the many challenges I have faced professionally at Stockton Heath, I have thoroughly enjoyed the 11 years that I have spent here and feel truly honoured and blessed to have worked at such a wonderful school with such a dedicated team of teachers, teaching assistants, support staff and governors. As I embark on a new challenge, I leave Stockton Heath with so many wonderful and fond memories which will remain in my heart forever! I will miss everything about the school but in particular I really will miss your wonderful children who make me smile every day. I am incredibly proud of our children and very grateful to you for the support you have given to them and also to me during my time here. I have no doubt that Stockton Heath Primary School will continue to go from strength to strength and look forward to hearing about its continued success. With love Mrs McAleny

    Summer Reading Challenge
Dear Parents/Carers, The Summer Reading Challenge has started now and is running until the 8th September. Children can join at any LiveWire library. Unfortunately, Stockton Heath library is currently closed for redevelopment. Therefore, there is some limited library provision at Broomfields Leisure Centre during the following times: Mondays 10-12noon Tuesdays 4-6pm Fridays 10-12noon Saturdays 10-1pm At the library sessions at Broomfields, children can sign up and take part in the Summer Reading Challenge. They will still need to read six books over the summer. Every time they have read two books they need to return them to the library and collect the corresponding reward. Every year, we have a large proportion of children who enter the summer reading challenge and we hope that Stockton Heath library being closed is not going to deter our children or parents! There is a special award given for the school who has the highest percentage of children engaging in the challenge and we would really like to win the trophy back! Therefore, please do encourage your child to join in and make sure they register at any LiveWire library, within the Warrington area, or access via the Broomfields Leisure Centre. Thank you for your continued support! Mrs McAleny
